Maple Creek Farm Custom Poultry Processing is a 5A Exempt facility operating under Exempt P.L. 90-492.

All poultry processed in our facility is for personal consumption only.

All Poultry Processed in our facility MUST be packaged and labeled by us.

 Butcher dates are by appointment only.

Custom Chicken PROcessing

CHICKEN CUT SHEET

$5.50 and up per bird

We currently process both broilers and old laying hens. Broilers can be cut up to your specifications for an additional charge. All the birds that are processed in our facility are air chilled to reduce water absorption and are shrink sealed in plastic bags. Giblet items (hearts, livers, necks and gizzards) are returned at the owners request and are bulk packed only. We DO NOT clean gizzards. Feet and other parts may also be returned upon request. Vacuum sealing available for cut up birds (1/2, 1/4, full breakdown) for an additional fee. We will still package birds as we have in the past at no additional charge.

** Whole, half, quarter and cut up birds are chilled only, not frozen. Sausage or ground meat will be ready for pick up the following week and will be packaged in 1 lb bags and frozen upon receipt. **

CUSTOM TURKEY PROCESSING

$8.75 and up per bird

Turkeys may be processed at any time during our butchering season. All the birds that are processed in our facility are air chilled to reduce water absorption and are shrink sealed in plastic bags. Please see our turkey cut sheet for Giblet (hearts, livers, necks and gizzards) packaging options and pricing.

Ground Chicken & Turkey
and Sausage

Ground & Sausage is available for both Turkeys and Broiler Chickens ONLY
Ground/Sausage Processing will cost 2.75/lb + the whole bird butcher fee.
Example: 3 meat chicken carcass’ will yield approx. 10 lbs of ground/sausage, wings for
frying, legs and the bones for stew costing $16.50 butcher fee + $27.50
grinding/sausage fee = $44.00 OR $4.40/lb
Example: A 15 lb Broad Breasted Turkey Carcass will yield approx. 10 lbs of
ground/sausage, legs, wings and bones for stew will cost = $8.75 butcher
fee + $27.50 grinding/sausage fee = $36.25 OR $3.63/lb
Minimum number of birds:
* Chickens - min of 3 Meat Birds ( yield on 3 - 8 week Broilers will be approx. 10 lbs of
ground meat)
* Turkeys - min of a 15 lb carcass (yield on a 15 lb turkey is approx. 8 - 10 lbs of ground
meat)
Processing Time:
Sausage or ground will take a week to process. Whole and cut up birds will still be ready for pick up 24 hrs after processing, but ground/sausage takes additional time. Sausage and ground will be frozen upon receipt.

We offer Breakfast, Sweet Italian, Hot and a No Sage Breakfast.
All Sausage/Ground is bulk packaged in 1 lb bags

Must have a min of 3 broiler chickens per sausage seasoning choice
